Hi Stu!

My previous post to you here disappeared! Not sure why. Anyway, sorry you are having problems posting at CD. I think with the volume of stories they put out, they don't have time to mess with comments unless it's a flag. I tried to send you an email several times to no avail. I'm unsure what happened. Maybe we will have to resort to smoke signals!

Anyway I've been away with Kidney Stones, so I missed checking back on this page like I should. My apologies. Do you have a favorite photo and a Bio? I'll add you to the Truth Tellers!

Best wishes working out the computer bugs!

From TJ, to Steve, to Siouxrose - all of you are here! How I wish we could all meet in one place . I had ditched CD for quite a while, due to the lurkers and the spammers, phishers and plants. I did come back and found it better than it was - but this little forum of patriots and truth tellers feels like home.
BTW, I can be reached directly at zumbawithcindy (AT) gmail (DOT) com

You are all my friends, and patriotic heroes - and I am honored to know each of you.

Big Huggs to Steve, and (TJ, check your 6 LOL)

Contract with America
by
Steve Osborn

THE American People signed a contract in 1787. An agreement between the Governed and the Government. It is called the Constitution of the United States. The first ten amendments to that constitution is known as the Bill of Rights. As Justice Hugo Black stated, “It is my belief that there are absolutes in our Bill of Rights, and that they were put there on purpose by men who knew what words meant and meant their prohibitions to be ‘absolutes.’”
Think about it. Without the First Amendment, newspapers could only print the “party line” or be suppressed. Books and plays would be censored or banned. We might have to attend the State Authorized Religion, or be forbidden to attend any other form of worship, or any worship at all. We could even have a church telling us how to live, backed up with government force! We would have no right of public assembly or protest, nor could we petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Without the Second Amendment, we would be a completely disarmed populace, at the mercy of government troops or security forces.
Without the Third Amendment, the government could quarter troops in your home without your consent.
Without the Fourth Amendment, the government’s security force or military could search your home at will, without a warrant, confiscate your papers and property, monitor your communications and phone conversations without your ever knowing about it.
Without the Fifth Amendment, you could be picked up, your property confiscated, you could be held incommunicado for an indefinite time without legal counsel and could be forced to testify against yourself.
Without the Sixth Amendment, your could be held for an indefinite period, without charge, and without being told why you’re being held. Your trial, if any, could be held in secret without your being able to confront your accusers or examining any evidence, nor would you have the right to legal counsel.
Without the Seventh Amendment, in civil suits, you would not have the right of trial by jury.
Without the Eighth Amendment, there would be no limit on the amount of bail set or fines imposed, and any cruel punishment could be meted out, even death by torture.
Without the Ninth Amendment, any rights not spelled out would be forfeit to the government.
Without the Tenth Amendment, the People of the United States would have no powers reserved to themselves, it would all lie with the State.
Those rights are listed right there in the Constitution. They cannot legally be removed by Legislative or Executive fiat. They can only be removed by amending the Constitution to give up these rights.
When you think of the United States, keep that Constitution in your mind. Keep in mind those first ten amendments, which gives We the People unparalleled rights and guarantees of freedom. Freedom of thought, freedom of opinion, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from oppression, from intrusion into our private lives.
This precious document must be treasured and protected against all enemies, foreign or domestic, if we are to, indeed, live in “One Nation, under God.” The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are perhaps two of the most important documents written since the “Sermon on the Mount.” To have value, they must be read often, and kept alive.
Just think about it from time to time as you go about your daily business.

I pledge allegiance to the flag… What is a flag? Webster’s describes it as a piece of cloth or bunting with distinctive colors, patterns or symbolic devices used as a state symbol. In general it is an easily recognized symbol of a nation or group. Our flag has gone through many incarnations from the Grand Union flag of the revolution through an ever increasing number of stars as states were added to the Union. The flag of the United States, “Old Glory,” has flown proudly as the ensign on ships protecting our shipping from both the British, and Barbary pirates, in the 1800'’s, from the crest of Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima in World War II to the moon and beyond, as painted on Voyager, now on its way to the stars. Sadly, it has flown just as proudly at Wounded Knee, Manzanar, Mai Lai and Fallujah.

Of the United States of America… What is the United States of America? It is a vast country, bounded on the East and West by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, by Canada to the North and Mexico to the South, not to mention Alaska and Hawaii beyond those boundaries. It is the home of diverse people and cultures and has every extreme of climate and geology.

And to the Republic for which it stands… What is a Republic? “It is a state or nation in which the supreme power rests in all the citizens entitled to vote (the electorate) and is exercised by representatives elected directly or indirectly by them and responsible to them.” What is it that makes our republic so unique in the annals of history? It is the three documents bequeathed to us by the founders of our nation, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the first ten amendments to the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights. The founders of this nation had had their fill of autocratic government, unresponsive to the needs and wishes of its citizens. The Declaration of Independence spelled out that every person had the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Inalienable means that it cannot be taken away or abridged. It also declared that every man had the right to rebel against those rights being infringed. After a long and bitter campaign, the United States of America was born. A Constitutional Convention was held in which the framework of government was hammered out. When completed, it was a remarkably brief document consisting of seven articles which concisely spelled out the rights, privileges and obligations of all three branches of government and how each of the three should provide a system of checks and balances on the others so that no branch of the government could assume dictatorial power or infringe upon the rights of the people. Included was the process by which the Constitution could be amended. When the Constitutional Convention had drafted the document, almost as an afterthought it was decided that there should be an enumeration of simple acknowledged principles of the rights of man. The list of an American citizen’s rights was to be an absolute barrier to infringement by the government upon the citizenry. (An interesting fact; If you carefully read the Bill of Rights, you will note that it does not enumerate our rights, it forbids the government from interfering with or taking away these rights. The rights are inherent.) These were added as the first ten amendments to the Constitution and called the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is the irrevocable law of the land, the nation’s ultimate guarantee of human dignity for every American.

One Nation, under God, indivisible…The First Amendment declares the separation of church and state, but nowhere does it state that belief in a Supreme Being is something that cannot be professed publicly or shown in public places. Neither does it ban prayer in public. Rather, the separation of church and state was to guard against the growth of any sort of ruling theocracy such as had been seen throughout much of human history, where the church ruled and dictated human behavior according to its particular beliefs. Indivisible because since the civil war, we have hung together as one nation despite our differences.

With Liberty and Justice for all… Those ten amendments are that guarantee. They cannot be abridged regardless of expediency. Nowhere else in the world does a citizen enjoy the enumerated rights and benefits guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. The President takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, as do the Senate and the House. The Supreme Court is to enforce those Constitutional guarantees and see that neither of the other two branches of government violates or tries to set aside those rights. It is the duty of every citizen to see that the Constitution and Bill of Rights is protected. Without them, the United States of America is nothing special, just another big country ruling its people any way it sees fit. And the people become no more than servants of the state.

I would urge everyone to obtain a copy of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution including the Bill of Rights and study them carefully. It is only by knowledge that we can acquire wisdom and only by informed wisdom that we can maintain our unique and inalienable rights and freedoms.

Remembrance Day

Now is the day that we remember
Our dead, the wars, each falling ember.
Veterans, Poppy clad, march in sadness and pride,
Ever mindful of the dwindling companies they once marched beside.
Men, long turned grey, who remember the youth and strength
Bourne by them into war, adventure, endless length,
Ever yearning, at last, for home, for hearth, for peace.
Remembering all their lives the horrors that wars release.

Eleven, eleven, the day the guns fell still,
Leaving only the stench of gas, and bodies, and graves to fill.
Eleven, eleven and the “War to end all wars,” had ceased.
Vengeance and madness! Again the dogs of war unleashed!
Ever rending a new generation to feed their maw.
Now, war follows war, each more cruel, more raw,
Tears the fabric of life, slays man, woman, child; death in the rough.
Heaven itself must cry in pain, “For the love of God! Enough! Enough!”

KIOR recently obtained a 100 million dollar investment from Khosla (85 million) and Gates (15 million). I believe that KIOR must be on to something or Gates and Khosla venture capital would not have dumped so much money into it.

Yes I was born at the end of the colonial era to an irrigation agronomist father who after the war landed the job of managing a vast estate called Latifiya, which was producing cotton and barley for export to Britain, owned by the firm Andrew Weir & Company Ltd, a family owned conglomerate operating in shipping, trading, insurance, and the founders of the Bank Line. That company is a real picture of the 1% :

False Narative reply by LucitanianLucitanian, 24 Aug 2013 21:48

Lucitanian,

Great additional info. I wonder if we could add the actual documents from PNAC think tank which was calling for another "Pearl Harbor" to garner support for a desired invasion by Big Oil/MIC. Maybe that deserves it's own page. What to call it? The Fake 911 Attack/Iraq War?

On the subject of a false propaganda narrative by the MIC to gin support for up a fake war, it occurs to me there are common premeditated narrative aspects like the one you mentioned: "human Shields".

Another one is fake beheadings:
When the Bush Crime Family was desperately trying to villify their Target Oil in Iraq to justify a non-UN sactioned invation, another narrative was that these people (Iraqis/Saddam) were beheading innocent American hostages and a video surfaced on the internet and pics in newspapers showing big burly white men in jumpsuits with hoods beheading their victims claiming death to America, or something like that.

I could not help but notice later, that the wall was nearly identical to the wall and clothing at Abu Grave later. Also, the supposed terrorists were stocky men like Special Ops Soldiers (not skinny tribal rebels like you see in the desert) and they were wearing expensive, bulky American style watches like no tribesmen ever wear.

We had already won this war when I was in it in 1990-1991 and my friend flying F-15's patrolling the no-fly zones after made sure no credible threats made their way into Bagdad. Since we gained air superiority in a few days in Desert Storm, I was skeptical when Bush II made the case for the need to invade again in 2003, and Condesleza Rice claimed a big mushroom cloud was going to get us all.

But, like most Americans, I felt at the time that our leaders had more information at hand and were probably doing the right thing since they claimed WMD's were in Iraq. I didn't learn till later that Scott Ritter, the UN weapons inspector said he didn't find any WMD's at all. At that point, I was convinced it was a scam and went to protest in Washington D.C.

Another False Narative, (I think), was that Iraq abuses women, and that Iraq attacked a peaceful Kuwait to steal their land/oil. But later I found out that non-secular Iraq was better for women than Kuwait, who, I heard openly buy and sell women as slaves. Kuwait had open slavery! And we were backing them? Also there were ancient claims to Kuwait apparently that I can not even begin to understand. I think maybe it had something to do with the way the British Empire split up the Middle East?

Do you know?

(Did you say you were born in Iraq?)

Thanks,

TJ

HEY STEVE:

To center text, links etc: use two brackets with an equal sign "=" in the middle; then you must close the command with a "/=" in double brackets when you are finished centering

I've done that on your last paragraph which you can only see in edit mode.

OR,

Here's a sample of a note that centers stuff for you

The Huge Banks, Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Insurance, Big Ag and the DOD sub-contractors are just different versions of Organized Crime who violate, coerce and corrupt the law on a daily basis. And their muscle is the Pentagon, CIA and large centralized police forces like DEA, FBI, DHS to name just a few. All our jobs in the US have been shipped off to wage-slave labor centers like India and China by these treasonous apes. Your job is next.

OR a quote box shades the box:

How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power
Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president

Ben Aris in Berlin and Duncan Campbell in Washington
The Guardian, Saturday 25 September 2004 23.59 BST
Article history
George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.

And before that on Oct 10, 2003 in the oldest newspaper in the USA the New Hamshire Gazette: http://www.nhgazette.com/the-bushnazi-stories/bushnazi-link-confirmed/

WASHINGTON – After 60 years of inattention and even denial by the U.S. media, newly-uncovered government documents in The National Archives and Library of Congress reveal that Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush, served as a business partner of and U.S. banking operative for the financial architect of the Nazi war machine from 1926 until 1942, when Congress took aggressive action against Bush and his “enemy national” partners.

The documents also show that Bush and his colleagues, according to reports from the U.S. Department of the Treasury and FBI, tried to conceal their financial alliance with German industrialist Fritz Thyssen, a steel and coal baron who, beginning in the mid-1920s, personally funded Adolf Hitler’s rise to power by the subversion of democratic principle and German law.

Furthermore, the declassified records demonstrate that Bush and his associates, who included E. Roland Harriman, younger brother of American icon W. Averell Harriman, and George Herbert Walker, President Bush’s maternal great-grandfather, continued their dealings with the German industrial baron for nearly eight months after the U.S. entered the war.

Reminder: You have to hit the edit link to see the special characters that do this. It won't show up on the finished page itself.

Hope this helps some.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for responding!

I'll use the pic on your blog, if that is O.K. and any bio you want. The content on your page/pages is entirely up to you. I just know that you are a great writer and don't want you insights to go to waste. These wikipages are harder than hell to use, but they are free, stable, and each have a unique address on the net. So they can be connected to any site at all that is impressed with them. The fact that they are hard to use, prevents troll damage, imho. Anyway, I'm new at this administrator role, so please bear with me.

If you go to the main page, and then click on the link next to your picture, it will take you to your page where you can hit the edit button at the bottom and a rectangular edit box will materialize in which you can paste your material copied from your computer. Or, alternatively, you can email it to me and I will paste it in. It uses a very slow 'Ajax' software scheme, so hit it once and be patient. If nothing happens hit the edit (blue link) again.

After pasting, be sure to hit the blue 'save' link at the bottom!

Don't worry you can't damage anything.

If you have any questions or problems you can reach me here or alternatively My email is moc.oohay|nortegnartsrd#moc.oohay|nortegnartsrd

All the Best Steve!
And thanks for messing with this poor-man's website!

Hi Tom,
I hope I am finally doing this correctly. I was wondering what you would like from me? Brief autobio? Comment on what we are becoming (or have become)? Did you want a photo or an avatar?
I hope you've found some things of interest in my blog. I was very active for a while, but it got so depressing that I quit. Started again, recently. I have also written some chapbooks, A Selection of the Anti-War Poetry of Stephen M. Osborn, Food for Thought, a selection of essays on Freedom and Government, Remembrance: Poems of War and the Dream of Peace amongst others.
My email is moc.elbacevaw|ecalpeht#moc.elbacevaw|ecalpeht
If you can find a copy of America 2014:An Orwellian Tale, by Dawn Blair, I think you may find it of interest. Fiction, but just barely, I fear.
Yours for peace and sanity in our time,
Steve

Leave me your wishes and I shall make them come true.

(if I can: I'm a blind deaf and dumb computer genie, using this very minimal free site) ;-)

Just respond to this message or start a New Thread so we can communicate.

Remember: They make computers courts difficult so we poor people can't use them! But I have not yet begun to fight them!
